Jaws were dropped and hearts stopped working once when models rocked the ramp of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 while wearing the ‘Art Struck Elan’ spring/summer collection 2014 by the renewed fashion designer Khadijah Shah.
The famous fashion designer of Pakistan did not disappoint again to her fans and fashion lovers. The collection was nailed by Khadijah Shah with a young, eclectic, vibrant and a very feminine prints with well-defined silhouettes and pop art elements being used as core embellishments.
Élan ‘Art Struck’ Collection At PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 drew inspiration from vintage art and fashion illustrations, in particular the work of celebrated illustrator Rene Grau.

The collection consists on bees, polka dots, lipsticks, kitschy pop-art; telephones, graffitti and the currently popular ‘mooch’ scattered in print and sequins. consists on a wide range and caters today’s modern women with beautiful and elegant outfits which carries vibrant shades.
Statement jackets, short and long voluminous skirts, flared palazzos, quirky blazers, tunics, wraps, leggings, jumpsuits, balloon hemlines, taffeta ruffles, bubble dresses with funky accessories and embellishments were the main highlights.
Designer took a risk and somehow managed to make it work from Andy Warhol’s sartorial aesthetic to Markus Lupfer inspired bags. Élan’s Art Struck collection was a breath of fresh air, a funky rendition of the Pop Art craze taking over the world.
What can be said about Élan, is that each year the brand keeps setting the bar higher and higher as far as luxury prêt is concerned. PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 is being produced and choreographed by HSY Events, with front stage management by Maheen Kardar Ali.
7th PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week was held from the 10th to 13th of April 2014 which focused specifically on the region’s long hot summer months and all the shows defined and present trends for the year. When it comes to buyers, this edition was welcomed regional buyers too apart from some international players.
The backstage management was done by Product 021, Sara Shahid of Sublime by Sara as the official spokesperson for the PFDC, logistics and operations by Eleventh Retail and photography by Faisal Farooqui and the team at Dragonfly.
