Hair Care In WinterWinter is a cold and dry season in this season we need some extra care and tips to keep our body warm and prevent ourselves from dryness of skin, hair and the whole body. To avoid dryness we use lots and lots of moisturizers or body butter, different types of lotions and many creams. Our hair also needs the moisture and extra care against dandruff and dry rough hair which is very common problem of winter months. Winter hair care can be very tricky. Avoid Woolen Clothing:

Use a silk scarf to cover your hair, over this you can use woolen cap. If you wear woolen cloth directly on your hair, it can damage the hair line.

Do Not Go Out With Wet Hair:

Your hair might develop split ends if exposed to extreme cold conditions. Hence avoid step out with wet hair.

Oil Massage:

Use olive oil into your hair at-least twice a week, massage genitally your scalp and hair, it will provide moisture and shine to your hair. For better results heat the oil mildly before massage it into your scalp.

Use less Shampoo In Winter:

Too much shampooing is most common mistake of people. Shampoo is a drying agent; it makes the hair extreme dry and rough in dry winter season. Use less shampoo or very often in winter.


A good hair conditioner of recognized brand is recommended on a daily basis, as conditioner helps to save your hair from dryness and dry hair leads to damaged hair. In winter we usually use hot water while washing hair which is very harmful and create dandruff. We should use Luke warm water or cold water in winter; it will provide extra shine and lock moisture in the hair.

Lass Use Of Hair Dry:

Excess of use of hair dryer makes the hair dry and damaged. While using hair dryer set it on cool setting. Drying your hair with cool air is time taking but less harmful to your hair.
