The 50th Golden Horse Film Awards were held in Taipei’s Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on November 23, 2013 which hosted many high profile celebrities who arrived there with stunning looks and gorgeous dresses and gowns. All the celebrities rocked the red carpet event and stole the show.
But she was Chinese actress and singer Li Bingbing who really captured the eyes of the guests, audience and media cameras when she arrived in a stunning Elie Saab Couture spring 2013 lavender sheer lace gown with beading and intricate embroidery. The gown’s color was blue which was beautifully crafted, lightly embellished appliqués.
The 33-year old UNEP Goodwill Ambassador, WWF Earth Hour Global Ambassador, and Ambassador of Korean Culture in China, Li Bingbing completed her look with million dollar smile. There were also other two celebrities who wore Elie Saab gowns at the lightening event. These celebrities were including Carina Lau and Maggie Cheung.
Then there were also Sonia Sui, Gwei Lun-Mei, Maggie Cheung, Amber Kuo, Sammi Cheng, Denise Ho, Amy Kwok, Zhang Ziyi, Vicky Zhao, Alice Ko and others who also rocked the red carpet while wearing stunning dresses and gowns. Cherry Ngan wore Lanvin, Shu Qi choose Valentino Couture gown while Zhang Ziyi was wearing Chanel Couture gown at the red carept of the 50th Golden Horse Awards. Sonia Sui was wearing Giorgio Armani gown and Sammi Cheng wore Antonio Berardi gown at at the Chinese-language “Oscars”.
At the stage of awards, this was really surprising moment for viewers and audience when Singaporean family drama “Ilo Ilo” was announced as the winner of the coveted best feature film prize. This was really the most exciting moment for the director Anthony Chen who also carried the trophies of the best new director and best original screenplay.
