There was a time when I used to waste lots of time and lots of ingredients to try to make bread, but I never manage to get what I actually wanted from it, I always thought pizza dough, cookies, pies are fine, but bread is not my cup of tea, I will never be able to make a perfect bread.
But now I can tell you that bread is quite easy to make at home and it is pretty pocket friendly too, you just need to set a step by step system in your own mind and then you will actually see how easy it is to make a bread, you will ruin couple of badges, but then you will be able to get a perfect bread. You need to take 1/4 cup of milk, any milk at all.
5 teaspoons sugar,
1 teaspoons salt,
1 1/2 tablespoons butter,
1 packet of plain active dry yeast,
3 1/2 cups flour,
Corn starch or nonstick cooking spray.
First or all you need to warm up the bowl and for that I normally fill it with hot water and then threw it out and now it is ready to start work, first of all you need to mix yeast according to the directions on the packet and then you will end up with a foamy brown water and now you need to mix it with smooth to avoid lumps, you need to understand that it is very easy to make bread if you are following the right steps, don’t take things too easy.
Melt the butter in the microwave and then add milk, sugar, and the salt to the yeast liquid and mix well now it is time to add flour and mix well , you just add 2 cups of flour, not all of them, now put the dough on the wood tray to kneading, that is the key point of your bread, knead as much as possible, now you can add flour about 1/4 cup at a time every minute or so.
Then put it back in the bowl and cover it with either a napkin, plastic sheet or anything at all for at least 2-4 hours and then knead it again and then put it on the table and shape it with rolling stick and then put it in a preset pan.
I have used some oil all over the pan and then sprinkle some flour over the pan too and put the dough over it and let it rise again at least double and it will take 30-45 minutes and then apply some egg yolk or plain butter over the bread dough.
Put that loaf in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for thirty minutes and when it is done immediately remove it from the pan to cool
