Treat Swollen Lip Naturally

Treat Swollen Lip NaturallyNo matter what is the main reason behind the swollen lip, but no one likes to look like a joker and no one like to go out with such condition and if you are getting embarrassed with these painful lips then here are some simple tips for all of you to get beautiful lips and treat swelled lips at home.

1- Honey: – I always say that if you feeling something unusual in your body and you don’t know what to do then apply some honey since it is a natural healing, anti bacterial agent and it will help you no matter if you are getting any reaction or you are getting dehydrated, you just need to take a teaspoon of honey and dip a fresh cotton ball in it and apply it all over your lips and a bit around your lips too, you need to cover your lips nicely and leave it for about twenty minutes and then wash it off with cold water and you can use it two to three times a day till you feel better.

2- Tea Tree Oil: – I simply love the impact of Tea tree oil on infections and skin related issues so it is a perfect ingredient to deal with swollen lips too, but you need to understand that it is not as mild as honey or our other natural ingredients are, you have to be very careful about that, you just need to take a drop of TTO and a drop of olive oil and mix it in the palm of your hands and then apply it all over your lips with clean cotton balls and let it get dry on your lips for 10-20 minutes and then wash it off with worm water, if you feel that your lips are getting dry then you just need to mix TTO with Aloe Vera and it will work perfectly fine.

3- Witch hazel: – Witch hazel is another very affective and very mild antibacterial agent, and you can use it to reduce the swelling, soothe the pain and clean the cut too, you just need to make a mixture with one tablespoon of witch hazel and half tablespoon of salt and rub over your lips but very smoothly and then leave it on for about half an hour and was it off with cold water.

4- Baking Soda: – Baking soda is also a very simple and very safe treatment for the condition of swollen lips, especially if you are getting that due to some sort of allergic reaction, fever blister, insect bite or mosquito bite, you need to make a thick paste by mixing two tablespoon of baking soda and some water and apply a thick coat of this mixture over your lips for ten minutes and then wash it off with cold water…
At the last, if you are getting any unusual swelling on any part of your body, then apply cold or hot compressing immediately, and it will help you reduce the pain and swelling immediately
